 Interventional Cardiologists' starting salaries range from about $250,000 to $300,000 a year, but as years pile up, Interventional Cardiologist have been known to make around $400,000. For the places who offer partnership deals, Intervetional Cardiologists (who are aggressive and business-savvy) have been known to make $700,000 to $1,000,000! Now that's a lot of loot. Of course it take a lot of education to make this amount of money in a year. To become a Interventional Cardiologist, you must complete 15 to 16 years of school (after high school). That means 4 years of Pre-med, 4 years of Medical School, 3 years of Residency, 3 years of Cardiology Fellowship, and 1/2 years of Interventional Cardiologist fellowship.

During fellowship training, Pre-Interventional Cardiologists are known to make $55,000 to $65,000 a year, depending on the location.
